Can my child work on their schoolwork in your programs?

Yes.  Most of our students begin taking our classes or tutoring because they're struggling with an existing math class.  They relearn Math from Scratch while they get their normal homework done in school, or take a crash course to prepare for their final exams.  For our students, they just learn better when the focus is on drawing.   

In fact, many of our students have started out using our programs to supplement their existing math classes, but have since decided to homeschool in math exclusively with us and our partner site Math in a Month.

Do You Offer This Program to Homeschool Students?

Do you tutor students only in LA?

Our office has a West LA area code, but we tutor students nationwide.  

We operate on normal west coast hours: Pacific Standard Time. 

(So no 8pm sessions for the folks Hawaii, nor 9am sessions for the folks in Maine or Florida.)

Why?

The founder and team-coach at Math from Scratch is Michael Surrago. 

He created Math from Scratch as a way for students who love to draw and doodle to connect with math.

To Michael, math is just the most "legit" form of doodling there is.  

Consider: you can get paid oodles of cash to make doodles of trash!

The same goes for architecture, engineer, write up a bunch of websites like Tesla that all revolve around drawing really accurate diagrams, link to all the Fortune 500 companies, and write it up in Dr Seuss Style phrases like oodles of trash cash.
